The goal of the Worcester Public Schools Health and Physical Education Department is to provide students with the necessary skills which enable them to make safe and healthy choices in a variety of situations. In addition, students are given those skills which are needed to make fitness a life-long habit. The Health and Physical Education Curricula, which is aligned with the Massachusetts
Comprehensive Health Curriculum Framework, is taught by certified Health and Physical Education teachers.
